Buffalo and Kaycee Wyoming are one of the few remaining authentically Western towns where the past and the present collide. A community full of rich and diverse cultures keeping their heritage alive in everyday practice from agricultural practices, art, trade skills and music. Interact with the experts while getting hands on with ancient techniques used in modernity while hearing the incredible stories of individuals that make our Wyoming local collective keeping our native, cowboy, and immigrant legacies alive today.

About TA Ranch

Site of the Johnson County War, the TA Ranch is a living history museum. An original and intact Wyoming territorial homestead, the TA Ranch is the cumulative and keystone event that determined the future of the Wyoming Range wars. With the diligent work of owners Earl and Barbara Madsen to restore this national historical site, the joy of history continues on with the TA Ranch Foundation, a nonprofit, managed by the three existing generations of family still operating the ranch. Enjoy this celebration of history and heritage at the TA Ranch as our family has come to love.
