The Cookhouse
After living in Wyoming your whole life, you start to realize that meat and potatoes is all you get if you let it be that way.
Don’t get us wrong… Kirsten’s ribeye and scalloped potatoes are mouth wateringly good, however, she is one of the most creative chef’s we know.
Though she is mostly known as “Mom” she is also “Chef”, which is an impressive feat! Since she has owned and managed a restaurant in rural Wyoming, she is nothing short of incredible. Navigating multiple dietary restrictions herself, she has become quite the artist when it comes to creating and executing recipes in The Cookhouse.
Guests that stay at the ranch will be able to experience Kirsten’s cooking first-hand with nightly dinner at The Cookhouse. Each night is a specially curated Chef’s Table that illustrates what farm-to-table dining looks like.
Guests will be able to harvest their own honey, milk, and eggs that will be used in their meals and be served on the table.
A Message from the Chef (aka Mom):
“Ranching is not just an occupation, its a lifestyle that is tough but remarkably rewarding. In our homesteading tradition, we focus on sustainability and local sourcing. Educating our customers about food production and the livestock industry is plugging in a piece of the puzzle that has been missing for a long time. Farmers and ranchers are the unsung heroes of the food industry and quality food comes from a genuine love and care for our animals and craft. Discover a love for Wyoming through our food lens. Our dishes honor the diverse cultures in our area and our love of nature.”
